Through this initiative the Director-General of UNESCO, Mr Khaled El-Enany is inviting all of us to contribute shaping UNESCO’s future!

Please find below an invitation from the UNESCO Global Geoparks Secretariat to participate in the survey to gather strategic feedback from across the UNESCO ecosystem.

Dear colleagues,

On behalf of the Director-General of UNESCO, Mr Khaled El-Enany, we are pleased to invite you to contribute to the UNESCO80 initiative, launched as the Organization marks its 80th anniversary in a rapidly evolving global context.

At this milestone moment, UNESCO is reflecting on how to further strengthen its efficiency, effectiveness, and relevance in delivering its unique multidisciplinary mandate. In this framework, the UNESCO80 initiative is launching a short partner survey to gather strategic feedback from across the UNESCO ecosystem.

We are reaching out to you as a valued network partner. Your experience and perspectives are essential to understanding how UNESCO’s ways of working translate into inclusive, effective, and impactful partnerships. The survey focuses on three key dimensions: Efficiency, Mandate Implementation, and Structure and Delivery Models. Most questions are multiple-choice, with optional comment boxes for additional insights, and the estimated completion time is 5–10 minutes.

All responses will be treated confidentially and will be analyzed in aggregate.

Your experience and insights are essential to helping UNESCO better understand how its ways of working translate into effective partnerships and tangible results, and to inform the development of the UNESCO80 roadmap.
